SUCCESS STORY  /
Lowcountry Autism Foundation
The Client

The Lowcountry Autism Foundation exists to serve individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. LAF envisions a South Carolina where individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families have access to needed resources and services that positively impact the quality of their life.

The Goal

TargetMarket wanted to curate a full-scale marketing strategy to help LAF exceed its goals in relation to awareness, following, and fundraising. This strategy began with a complete refresh of their branding to get them started on the right foot.

Branding and Design

The re-brand started with breaking down the elements of the original LAF logo. Our creative team kept the primary colors and the puzzle piece design (the symbol associated with autism) but improved upon them with a new color palette and a more defined logomark to help modernize and enhance the cohesiveness of the brand. The font was also changed to one that was more in line with the foundation and would be legible at smaller sizes. The primary logo orientation works well in multiple formats, including social media profile pictures and merchandise designs like patches and stickers. Our team also created secondary logo versions, and color variations to maximize the logo compatibility. In addition to the LAF logos, our team extended its service to create the branding for annual LAF events and donation campaigns.

Custom Designed Goods

TargetMarket created a line of various products that were all custom esigned using the new LAF branding. Ensuring the selected items were of quality and had correct sizing, color, and placement helped achieve consistency and an overall higher aesthetic.

TargetMarket helped create custom shirt designs on a variety of garment colors for Lowcountry Autism Foundation. TM ensured these buttery-soft shirts were screen-printed to achieve optimal results.

Working with a local embroidery company TargetMarket created custom hat designs ensuring color, placement and sizing were correct. Headwear brand recommendations, design mockups and final deliverables where all part of the process.

Stationary

Mocked up concepts in the brand book turned into reality when the client liked the business cards designs so much. The rounded corners of the cards play off of the rounded edges of the heart logomark. Stationary envelopes were also custom designed with a full color application.

Signage

Working with SpeedPro Charleston and outside vendors TargetMarket created more impactful designs on various size deliverables. The retractable banners, feather flags, pop-up tents and table skirts are consistent with the new branding.

Fundraising Events

TargetMarket worked with Lowcountry Autism Foundation in creating custom branding for the Ales for Autism Golf Tournament in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area. TM participated in the LIVE, LAF, LOVE golf tournament on Daniel Island as a donating sponsor and photographing the event.

Heartfelt Pins & Stickers

Custom soft enamel pins were made as an additional way for people to show their support for Autism. Target Market worked closely with a preferred vendor to achieve optimal results for these small but mighty pieces. Heart die-cut stickers were also created for proud donors to raise awareness.
